At its 35th anniversary concert in the Bailey Allen Hall last night, the Galway Youth Orchestra’s Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Jazz orchestras performed 19 works including Sibelius, Bob Dylan, Mancini, Wagner, Ivanov and traditional pieces under the batons of conductors Peter Berrill, Joanne Cater, Michael Dooley and Jake Morgan and John Fleming. Over 100 young musicians performed on the night including orchestra leaders Chloe Alexa Gueta, R.iona Leech and Jason Cosgrove and Sinead St John.
